OnRobot has identified a great potential within a new business area. You will be tasked with pursuing this potential and building the focus area for the company. As the company’s new Business Developer, you will be responsible for developing sales to large customers at OnRobot. Your target group is automation companies and especially CNC machining companies in Europe and the US. You report directly to the commercial director, and you oversee the entire sales process from the first contact to the final agreement. Your starting point is a successful case with an existing major customer, which you can use to identify and process new clients.
You will produce a market overview, make sales plans and visit customers physically. In addition, you occasionally participate in relevant trade fairs to promote OnRobot’s solutions and gather knowledge. The role involves a targeted travel activity of 60 to 80 days annually working from one of the company’s offices and/or from your own home office.
Experienced candidate with an understanding of production
You have a technical or commercial background, which is combined with a solid understanding of how a production works. You have experience with direct sales to manufacturing companies and you understand how automation can solve specific challenges. Your knowledge enables you to operate effortlessly, both in production and in the management corridor.
You are energetic and motivated by cultivating new business opportunities. At the same time, you work very independently with strong self-discipline, and your inner drive ensures that you maintain stability in the long sales processes. You are driven by a natural competitive gene, and you communicate effortlessly in English, both in writing and orally.
